Rotary machines are primarily used for difficult powders and fragile products for gable-top and pillow bags, block-bottom bags, and especially for flour, sugar, biscuits, and other baked goods.

Combining the bag-making process (horizontal or vertical) with a rotary filling machine is particularly suitable for stand-up pouches: The vertical process forms the bag, while the rotary forming machine takes care of filling. This is also particularly worthwhile for products such as spices, coffee, flour, biscuits, pasta, cereals, rice, baked goods, and sugar.
